About Us

The Alhambra Public Library
was established in 1906, to support the learning and reading needs
of the community. As the City of Alhambra has grown, so has the
Library and the services it provides. As of September 27, 2008 the
new Alhambra Civic Center Library is located at 101 S. First St.
Alhambra, CA 91801

The Library currently has a collection of
approximately 150,000 volumes, which include all types of materials,
including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, CDs, videos, and
audiobooks. We also have reference services, a teen room, a
children's room, public computers, Homework HELP, and many areas for
studying, reading, and learning.

Visit our new Teen Space! We have tables, chairs,
couches, and computer stations just for you! Also, we have study rooms
available for you and your buddies to use. There is a two hour limit
and you can book a room one day in advance! Come and meet the
Teen Services Staff as well! We are here to serve you so tell us what
you need and we will get it to you ASAP!
