Literacy, a federal agency, provides leadership on

reading instruction for children, youth, and adults.
In consulation with the U.S. Departments of
Education, Labor, and Health and Human Services, the
Insitiute serves as a national resource on current,
comprehensive literacy research, practice, and
policy. On this site, you will find literacy facts
and statistics, as well as information on government
grant opportunities. |

Easy Voter Guide

The Easy Voter Guide Project is
dedicated to the ideal that all people should have
access to nonpartisan information about the why, how
and what of voting and other forms of civic
involvement. It publishes the Easy Voter Guide in
five languages as a quick guide to state elections,
including elected offices, propositions, political
parties and voting issues, and it maintains this
website to host all Easy Voter Guide Project
information and education tools about elections and
voting, as well as the Easy Voter Guide for
downloading in seven languages. |
