Room Reservations

STUDY ROOMS

 The Alhambra Civic Center Library has group study rooms available for public use. 

  • Rooms are intended for groups of 2-6 people.
  • Groups can reserve a room once a day for up to 2 hours.
  • Reservations can be made up to 1 day in advance in person or by phone.
  • When making a reservation, you will need your Library card number and the names of all group members.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when using a study room.

To reserve an adult study room:

  • Call (626) 570-3212, ext. 1 or
  • Visit the Second Floor Reference Desk

To reserve a teen study room (ages 13-17 only):

  • Call (626) 300-1549 or
  • Visit the Teen Reference Desk on the First Floor 

If you have made a reservation, check in at the Reference Desk within 10 minutes of the start of your reservation. Please note that your reservation may be given to another group if you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation.

 

 CONFERENCE ROOM 

  • The Conference Room on the Second Floor of the Library is available for reservation by groups of 5-15 people.
  • There is no charge for the use of the room.
  • Groups, not individuals, may use the room for the sole purpose of conducting a meeting or conference.
  • Reservations may be made up to 3 months in advance, but at least one week before the meeting.
  • Reservation request forms may be picked up at the Alhambra Civic Center Library’s Administration Office on the Second Floor of the Library.
  • Reservations are not complete until the form is presented in person at the Library and signed by Library staff.
  • Other restrictions may apply.


RUTH C. REESE HALL

Ruth C. Reese Hall on the First Floor of the Library is available for public gatherings such as lectures, film showings, musical programs, discussion groups, and similar activities as they relate to Library Services or City of Alhambra sponsored events. All events are subject to approval by the Library Director and/or Library representative.

  • All events must be open to the public and free of charge.
  • A refundable deposit fee is required.
  • Room is reserved on a first come, first served basis.
  • Room may be booked no more than three months in advance, and for no more than once per month per organization/individual.
  • Reservation request forms may be picked up at the Alhambra Civic Center Library's Administration Office on the Second Floor of the Library. 
  • Reservations are not complete until the form is presented in person at the Library and signed by Library staff.
  • Other restrictions may apply.
