The Price is Right

Teens play a game in which they are tasked pricing items and learning about other financial literacy concepts in a style like the well-known game “The Price is Right". Prizes will be had, lessons will be learned.

Tell Your Story Series: Podcasting 101

Join local podcasters for a panel discussion about what they wish they knew when first starting their podcasts. Bring your questions and ask our expert panel for their perspective. Panelists include Eric Huerta of the LA Taco podcast, Tyler McPhail of the Grand Geek Gathering, Julie Roth of the LA Woman podcast, and Mike Wood of the GrindBin podcast. 

This event is free, but space is limited. 

Tell Your Story Series: Vicki Juditz Teaches the Art of Storytelling

Join award-winning storyteller, actress, comedian, writer, and spoken-word artist Vicki Juditz as she teaches you the art of crafting your own personal narrative and performing it for an audience.

Juditz has performed her true stories at festivals and theaters across the country, including at the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee.  Her story "Swing Dancing" can be heard on the Moth Radio Hour and "Yahrezeit" is featured on USA Today's Ventura Storytellers Project: "Love, Romance, and Other Disasters."

This program is free, but space is limited. 

Movie: The Incredibles 2

Join us on Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30pm in the Homework Center for a free screening of the film The Incredibles 2. Elastigirl is enlisted to make the public fall in love with super heroes again as Mr. Incredible is left to stay at home and take care of three children. This film screening is free, but please remember that space is limited.
