COMMUNITY LANGUAGES
The Alhambra Library has three community language collections: Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. These collections are located on the First Floor and in the Children’s Room. To browse these collections, use the “More Search Options” feature in the Library Catalog, select language, then select Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese. You can further refine your search by selecting the location from the “Refine Search” tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
The Alhambra Library has a very limited collection of local history and special collections items. For a complete listing of all materials in the local history collection, search the Library Catalog and select location "Local History Reference Office" collection.
CITY DIRECTORIES
Alhambra City Directories: A limited collection of City Directories is available for in-library use. The Library has non-consecutive directories from 1883-1964. Ask at the Second Floor Help Desk for access to the materials.
