Do you love to sew, or want to learn by doing? Join the Alhambra Library Ready, Set, Sew program, a six-week sewing experience designed for beginners and intermediate learners to sew it themselves, repair it themselves, and create within a community.

From June through July 2026, participants will build sewing skills through hands-on instruction, creative projects, clothing repair and reuse, and community collaboration, all while having the opportunity to borrow a sewing machine kit from the Library.

Whether you are completely new to sewing or looking to strengthen your skills, this program offers a welcoming, structured environment where creativity and practical learning come together. Classes are led by experienced local instructors and designed to help students gain confidence using sewing machines and creating fabric-based projects.
