Alhambra Library's Book Club, the Alhambra Page Turners, has moved to Zoom! Join us for a discussion of the novel The Downstairs Girl by Stacy Lee. Set in 1890's Atlanta, after losing her job from a milliner's shop, Jo Kuan, a Chinese American girl, goes to works as a lady's maid in the household of one of Atlanta's wealthiest men. In the evenings, as the pseudonymous author of a newspaper advice column for 'the genteel Southern lady'. Join us Friday mornings at 11am for a lively discussion of this book.
