Hidden Figures (2017) is based on the true story of three women who began working at NASA as part of a segregated group of African American women hired to process aeronautic data in the Space Race era.
Directed by Theodore Melfi and written by Melfi and Allison Schroeder. It is loosely based on the 2016 non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly.
