Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration with Mariachi Tierra Mia

The Alhambra Library invites you to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a vibrant performance by L.A.-based Mariachi Tierra Mia.

Mariachi music has been serenading generations in times of joy, struggles, milestones and more since its roots in Mexico centuries ago. This genre of regional Mexican music blends indigenous and colonial musical instruments that began with more of a homegrown country attire and evolved to the more elaborate matching traje de charro (elegant horseman suit) ensembles we see today. Join us for this lively cultural celebration!
